Spiko Raises $90 Million to Take Tokenized Money-Market Funds Further Into Europe
The London- and Paris-based platform says it manages $2.7 billion in assets and will use the Series B to launch products and expand its tokenized cash infrastructure into additional European markets.

LONDON — Spiko, a London- and Paris-based platform for tokenized money-market funds, has raised $90 million in a Series B led by New Enterprise Associates. The company said the round brings total funding to $120 million and that it currently manages $2.7 billion in assets.
Spiko gives businesses and other investors access to tokenized versions of money-market instruments, allowing cash to be represented and transferred on blockchain rails while remaining tied to conventional short-duration assets. The appeal is less about speculative crypto exposure than about making a yield-bearing cash position programmable and easier to move between digital financial workflows.
The company plans to use the funding to launch additional products, expand into new European markets and grow its team. Those ambitions place Spiko in a crowded but expanding field that includes stablecoin issuers, tokenized Treasury platforms and traditional asset managers experimenting with digital fund shares.
The $2.7 billion asset figure is company-reported, and tokenized fund assets should not be compared directly with stablecoin circulation without examining the underlying legal structure, redemption rights and custody arrangements. The funding validates investor interest in the category; it does not by itself answer how the platform performs in stressed markets or how portable its tokens are across venues.
