NEW YORK — ScribeUp announced on Oct. 20, 2026 that it raised $13 million in Series A financing led by Curql, with participation from Mucker Capital and Service Ventures. The financing includes $10 million of equity and a $3 million venture-debt facility, according to the company.

ScribeUp provides infrastructure that banks and other financial institutions can embed in their own apps. The platform helps customers identify recurring bills, subscriptions, rent and loans, then take actions such as cancelling a service or updating a payment method without leaving the institution’s digital interface.

The company says it is adding agentic AI so customers can give instructions in natural language while the system handles the underlying bill-management workflow. That convenience creates a control question: cancellation, account changes and payment updates need clear authorization, confirmation and exception handling, especially when a merchant’s terms or identity checks prevent an action from completing automatically.

ScribeUp has not disclosed customer counts or quantified savings from its platform. The funding supports expansion and agentic-AI development, but banks evaluating the product will still need to assess data access, consent, security, customer support and how failed or disputed bill actions are surfaced to users.
