LEAWOOD, KAN. — Euronet and Fireblocks announced an expanded partnership on Oct. 19, 2026 to help banks and fintechs launch white-label card programs funded by stablecoins. Euronet will use its Ren and CoreCard platforms for card issuing and processing, while Fireblocks supplies embedded wallet infrastructure for the underlying stablecoin balances.

The model is designed to look familiar to a cardholder. A financial institution can convert a fiat deposit into stablecoins for the program, the user spends through a card, and the merchant receives local currency through the card network. The stablecoin is used as a funding and treasury layer rather than requiring the merchant to accept crypto directly.

The partnership does not mean that every bank or fintech can immediately offer such a card. Programs still require customer due diligence, wallet controls, sanctions screening, consumer disclosures, local licensing and a clear allocation of responsibility among the issuer, processor, wallet provider and program manager.

Euronet and Fireblocks have not published a complete list of launched programs, transaction volumes or corridor coverage. The announcement is best understood as an infrastructure capability that financial institutions can evaluate, not proof of universal stablecoin card availability.
