HL Hunt BaaS Banking Offers White-Label Accounts Through Partner Banks — Not a Bank Charter
HL Hunt Financial sponsored this Company Spotlight on BaaS Banking, an infrastructure offering for fintechs and businesses that routes checking and savings products through FDIC-insured partner banks with white-label and API-level integration.

SPONSORED CONTENT — HL Hunt Financial’s BaaS Banking offering is designed for fintechs and other businesses that want to present banking products without building a bank from scratch. The product page describes white-label and API-level integration for checking and savings products issued through FDIC-insured partner banks.
The partner-bank structure is the core fact. A fintech can own the customer experience and software layer while the regulated bank provides the underlying account and banking perimeter. That can shorten the path to a financial product, but it does not turn the fintech into a bank or transfer every compliance obligation away from the program operator.
HL Hunt says the offering is built on NMLS-registered lending entities and includes documented end-to-end regulatory support. Those are company representations; prospective partners would still need to identify the actual issuing bank, understand the contractual allocation of BSA/AML, KYC, complaints and fraud responsibilities, and confirm how FDIC insurance applies to the specific account structure.
BaaS infrastructure is therefore less about adding a banking badge to an app than about managing the seams between software, sponsor-bank operations and customer support. HL Hunt’s white-label and API approach may suit different levels of control, but a business should evaluate account ownership, data access, settlement, fees, oversight and exit rights before committing to the platform.
